A REALTOR® is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.

Who am I?

I grew up in Napoleon, MO in western Lafayette County and now reside in Blue Springs. I attended the University of Missouri in Columbia for my Bachelor's degree and the University of Kansas for my Master's degree. I was a Clinical Social Worker for ten years providing in home family therapy. I loved my work, as helping people has always been my passion. I decided to change careers in order to be more available to my three children in their many activities. Becoming a Realtor was a logical solution, as it bridges my love for helping people and my love for homes and property. My education and training give me a very special ability when it comes to finding what your needs and wants are, as well as, negotiating your transaction.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising;

and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry.
